The New Zealand Cricket Museum is located at Wellington's iconic Basin Reserve, New Zealand's oldest test cricket ground. With a huge archive of objects, papers, photographs and other memorabilia, precise and accurate cabinet lighting was required that would also carry a discrete presence. The Sprite cabinet lights "zoom" functionality allows the beam angle to be adjusted as required to suit the size of the items on display.

A lighting refresh for the Grand Arcade on Willis Street, the profile accentuates the escalators and cut-outs in the ceiling, creating a focal point for each level and invites customers to explore further. Profile is used to highlight details such as pillars and beams to give an excellent general illumination while providing a clean look. The large Amadeus pendants give impact with their presence, offering a beautiful black and gold to the aesthetic.

Subtle but functional lighting was required to highlight maps, displays and botanic artwork inside the Otari Bush Visitor Centre in Wilton, Wellington. The Eutrac easily blends in with the beams above, while the Alpha spotlight defines the information and can be adjusted and re-positioned as the space adapts for future layouts.

The lighting was carefully curated to provide glare-free light within the surgery rooms, creating a pleasant and comfortable experience. Custom-made profile with indirect light catered to each surgery, providing a practical and minimalist solution. Statement pieces such as the Roxy and Stick were used in the staircase and reception areas to accentuate details and create a warm and inviting environment.

New World Hutt City worked with Lightstudio's design team to upgrade their existing aisle lighting with the aim to increase the amount of light on their retail products. Lightstudio undertook extensive 3D computer modelling of the space to demonstrate the Misura's performance. A trial aisle was set up to make comparisons between the existing fittings, another manufacturer's more expensive product and Lightstudio's Misura.

The Misura showcased a higher light output, even light distribution on the products and a superior representation of colour. The existing fixings, suspension and cabling could also be utilised, reducing installation time and ceiling intrusion. The overall results showcase a more inviting and brighter store with better lit products where customers have commented on the vast improvement immediately after installation.

The Roxy pendants were created in collaboration with Bonnifait + Giesen Architects for the Good Books project; an existing space that was retrofitted into a bookstore in the heart of Wellington City. With brass coloured end caps and staggered suspension heights, the Roxy pendants create a visually stunning centre piece while emphasizing the height of the space.

A spectacular two storey home situated in the hills of Point Howard, overlooking the stunning view of Wellington Harbour. The lighting compliments the black and cedar pallet, creating a sleek look without inhibiting the breath-taking views. Custom pieces were made including the Halo Fabric pendant for the bedroom, the 100 Square linear profile for the kitchen island and the Power-Line 30 linear profile for the walk-in wardrobe and bathrooms.

The NZ Made Luna In/Out pendants feature in the lobby of 1 The Strand to create a stunning statement piece. Custom-coloured in Coal Dust and Champagne to go with the surrounding colour theme and manufactured in two sizes to create dimension. The Athina, a recessed ceramic profile, adds flair and an ease of way-finding throughout the space as it curves and bends arounds corners and corridors.

Introducing a rustic, modern masterpiece located in the beautiful Queenstown by Lake Hayes. Restored to become Wellington city's newest event space, the Double Bill wall lights add interest along the wall while harmonizing with the heritage features of the building. In-ground uplight fittings highlight the columns and curves of the connecting archways. Track spotlights blend in with the ceiling while creating focused light where needed. All luminaires utilise the latest in Casambi lighting control technology.

An interweaving of spaces, the LED profile complements the geometric patterns created by the brass and aluminium exterior, and continues throughout the interior of the new school assembly building. The exterior 100 Square is bronze anodized to match the exterior cladding. The interior space utilises the O series wall wash downlights that are focused over the school's honour boards. The DALI control system allows all fittings to be dimmed and controlled separately, creating a flexible and functional space.

Providing functional lighting for the lecture theatres as well as navigational lighting for the stairs. The black silicone pendants add a subtle flair and work with the black ceiling above. The DALI controlled 100 Square LED retro-fit kit utilises the existing ceiling recess, keeping construction costs down and fitting within a tight construction program.
